Welcome
to Forestia
A recreational park owned and operated by Fraternity
Snoqualmie.
Family Oriented
The wide variety of activities and recreational facilities
at Forestia provides an opportunity for wholesome fun,
relaxation, and camaraderie for toddlers, senior citizens,
and all ages in between! Families, couples, and single
persons are welcome. Children, of course, must be accompanied
by their parents or guardians.
Conveniently located
Forestia is located on the side of Tiger Mountain, just
a few miles south of Issaquah, WA. Approximate driving
times from various cites are: Seattle .5 hour to 45
min, Tacoma 1 hr to 1.5 hour, Everett 45 min to 1 hr,
Bellevue 20 min to 30 min, Renton 20 min to 30 min,
Enumclaw 30 min to 45 min. Driving directions.
Inviting
Forestia is inviting! Even on the hottest and busiest
summer weekends, there is no problem finding a place
to park, a vacant picnic table, or a section of green,
grassy lawn to spread out your blanket for sunbathing
or for relaxing in the cool shade of a tree.
Modern Facilities in a beautiful woodland setting
Nestled in the foothills of the Cascades, Forestia is
surrounded by a forest of stately evergreen trees. Forestia
covers forty acres, of which about fifteen acres have
been developed into a fun-filled park. Facilities include:
solar heated swimming pool, huge wading pool, two hot
bubbly spas, Scandinavian style sauna, spacious sunning
lawn, children's playground, volleyball, shuffleboard,
pickleball, horseshoes, small rentable cabin, tenting spaces, RV parking
w/
and w/o hookup, hiking trails, community kitchen, clubhouse,
pool table, cable tv, video games, and a gift shop.
Inexpensive
A family can enjoy unlimited use of the facilities at
Forestia for far less than they would be expected to
pay at commercial parks and resorts offering comparable
facilities. Children are included in the membership of
their parents or guardians at a no additional charge.

Clothing-free
At Forestia we believe in the wholesomeness of the human body and we reject the
notion that portions of our bodies must always be concealed. Liberated from
the feelings of guilt and shame which bathing suits and similar garments
symbolize, we enjoy a communion with nature and with our fellow human beings
unequaled in any other lifestyle.
Member owned and operated
Forestia and all its facilities are owned and operated by Fraternity Snoqualmie
which is incorporated with the State of Washington as a non-profit organization.
Members not only have the opportunity for recreation but also have a voice in
the administrative affairs
of the corporation.
Working Together
Nearly all the work required to operate, maintain, and upgrade the facilities
at Forestia is done by volunteers. By doing the work ourselves, we can keep the
expenses to a minimum. There are occasional work parties in which the members
are encouraged (but not required) to participate.
Events
Visitor days at Forestia are on National Nude Weekend in early July. Also during
the summer we have the Bare Buns Fun Run West and
Nudestock. Off-season events include Ocktober, Halloween Party, Christmas/Hanukkah
Party, and el Cinco de
Mayo. In addition, there are occasional dances and pot-lucks. Mid-winter
is a good time for
clothing-free hot-tubbing or lounging in the sauna.
Membership
The facilities at Forestia are for the members of Fraternity Snoqualmie, guests
of members, and visitors from other affiliated groups. Membership is available
to persons of good character, over the age of 18 years, regardless of race or
creed. Married persons must join as a couple.
Visitor Hours
Visitors are greeted at Forestia from 11 AM to 6 PM daily, May through September.
Visitors are welcome during
these times. Members may visit Forestia at any time.
